Produktiotyönä Sara Rundelin on toteuttanut kalenterin vuodelle 2024, jonka teemana oli lohikäärmeistetyt liskot. Kalenteriin tuli kaksitoista kuvaa ja kansikuvitus. Kalenterin liskot ovat valittu suosituista lemmikkilajeista, sekä luonnonomaisista liskolajeista. Liskolohikäärmeiden koot vaihtelevat hurjasti vuoren seinämän kokoisesta pieniin, kolibrin kokoisiin helikoptereihin.
Tuotannon työnimi on Liskolohikäärmekalenteri, mutta valmistunut työ kulkee nimellä Elävät lohikäärmeet – Living dragons. Kalenteri tulee olemaan painettu ja koottu fyysiseksi kalenteriksi, jonka koko on A4. Kalenteri tulisi ihmisille, jotka pitävät liskoista, taiteesta ja muuten vain sievistä kalentereista.
Kalenteri on suunniteltu myytäväksi vuoden 2023 Matsuconissa Oulussa, ja pienimuotoinen netin kautta toteutettu tilausmyynti mahdollisista jäljelle jääneistä kalentereista Matsuconin jälkeen taiteilijan sosiaalisessa mediassa.
Living dragons | Calendar, Craphic production| 2023
Sara Rundelin has created a calendar as productionwork, the theme of which is lizards as dragons. The calendar included twelve pictures and a cover illustration. The calendar included twelve pictures and a cover illustration. The calendar’s lizards are selected from popular pet species as well as wilder lizard species from the nature. Lizard dragons range wildly in size from the size of a mountain wall to tiny hummingbird-sized helicopters.
The working title of the production was Lizard-dragon calendar but the finished work is called Living dragons as in Elävät lohikäärmeet in Finnish. The calendar will be printed and assembled into a physical product with the size of an A4 and while opened A3. The calendar would be suitable for people who like lizards, art and otherwise just nice calendars.
The calendar is planned to be on sale in 2023 Matsucon, Oulu. After the event there is internet sale where the leftover calendars of the convention are sold via social media of the artist.
